    If you are flying to the US, get there 3 hours early, as they cut it off at 2 hours. If you only have carry ons maybe you can argue your way into it

    If you are using your Gulf residency to obtain an on arrival visa you will have to wait for an hour for security clearance.

    One of the best airports in the Middle East! If you're traveling to the states, (AUH) has U.S. Immigration check so you don't have to worry about waiting in those long lines when you arrive there.

    Flying back to the US? Be prepared for lines. You go through 2 security checks and actually go through US immigration & customs in UAE itself, taking a long time due to the many non-citizens flying

    This is a crappy airport for transfers. The lines are long and the staffs are rude. Try to have 3 hours for transfers

    Неплохой аэропорт, ночью на улице около 35 градусов и поначалу кажется, что кондиционеры внутри терминала - это просто спасение, но потом становится не по себе от холода.

    Not living up to Etihad standards I think. Too crowded, very short on toilets and no proper AC. Anxiously waiting for opening of the new terminal.

    Ну собственно аэропорт маленький.если Летите этихардами и стыковка более 4 часов,то на стойке этихардов вам дадут ваучер на еду. Сиденья-лежанки понравились.А так народу много а система глупая:(

    The airport is quite busy. They keep re-innovating it. Good services around. Great business lounge. Has USA Customs inside. A huge extension is taking place, so expect to be driven by a shuttle bus.

    Make sure you go to the right terminal. Etihad flies from both T1 AND T3. Other airlines T1. Budget airlines T2.
