EaterJanuari 6, 2014Neighborhood Restaurant Group's brewery, along with The Arsenal, came on the scene with a whopping 20 new, ambitious beers and food to match, like fancy tater tots and beef heart tartare.
Great beer selection and well paired dishes. The Mexican radio is my favorite along with the fried chick peas. Service can be a little slow but the food is consistently superb..can be a little pricey
Serious EatsDesember 13, 2013Massive brewery-restaurant from the team behind ChurchKey in the Navy Yards. Try the mac & cheese made using spent grains from the brewing process and topped with homemade Cheeze-Its.- The Bifteki Burger is out of this world! A well-seasoned lamb & beef patty cooked to perfection and topped with pickled cucumbers, feta cheese, lolla rosa, and dill mayo with a side of fries.

- Megan LillyAgustus 15, 2019A must-stop location before or after a Nats game, but it does get very crowded! Wide variety of beer styles and amazing food! I recommend the everything pretzel. Also a great place for brunch.
- Go for the tasting portions of beer - they're all great. Delicious veggie burger. You can "upgrade" your side of fries to smothered fries for $3.50. Do it!
Come for the beer, stay for the beer, come back for the beer, tasting size makes trying them easy. Bar menu features some tasty snacks, especially the tots. Restaurant side/menu isn't as distinctive.
MelJuli 22, 2017Couldn't enjoy the beer here while I was in Washington, as I am pregnant but my boyfriend enjoyed them, and the food was quite good! Would go again if I am in the area in the future!
There are a lot of interesting and unique variants on familiar styles, but to date they make one truly great beer: Mexican Radio.

You're going to love this place!!! Can't wait for the official opening! Beer and the food today was great! Can't really go wrong with the heads behind birch and barley and church key!- Everything on cask was good. Figure 8 specifically is really good on cask. Food wise.. Apps were ok. Sean, our server, was awesome. Looking forward to going back and trying more!

Lived up to the buildup. Great beers and awesome tater tots. And closer to Nats Park than I thought.
Love the James and the Giant and the Figure 8, but skip the cask on the latter-- the coffee and vanilla are overpowering.
Get here early. The place is packed nightly by 6pm, and the line starts forming 15-30 minutes before opening on weekends.
