    They have a new calder statue on the lawn where you come in from e parkway and a pretty crazy installation near the lillie ponds. Seems to be a great place for very little kids to roam!

    Walk with your student ID! Nice place for a picnic :-) and the Japanese garden and cherry blossom esplanade is the best!

    The cafe here is incredible. Just make sure you come to the garden on an off day in order to get a table and peace and quiet.

    It's free on Saturdays from 10-noon. Be sure to do the tour at 1pm too. You'll appreciate the gardens more!

    DO NOT COME HERE DURING THE CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL. First of all, the trees were not blossomed! It was way too crowded, ticket prices are inflated and the food was WAY too expensive for garbage!

    The garden is closed on Mondays! Free entry from 10 AM - Noon. Look up the timings and save some disappointment.

    The security guards are assholes well the younger ones, the older ones are pretty cool. But yeah don't sit on the grassland by the eastern pkwy entrance, big no no. Cherry blossoms are where it's at!

    Don't miss the native flora garden near the entrance. It's the oldest part of the whole gardens and a great semi-hidden spot.
