- Duty free shopping more attractively priced for Scotch n Malts, as compared to Dubai, Heathrow, JFK, Seattle Tacoma, Gatwick. If ur outta INR just ask customs official to use an ATM just outside.
- Smoking at outside of terminal: behind Burger King is recommended. ISA members will immediately recognize once get there. [ International Smokers Association]

- Vivek AnandSeptember 18, 2016Airport transfer whether its international or domestic is not a hassle here unlike T3 at Delhi. Only sore point is the walkways after de boarding is narrow although there are travelathons.
- Get the free WiFi. Needs a registration. Never received the registration msg on Dubai number but works fine on Indian number. You can use the code on any device.

- Go take a seat near the boarding gate. Boot up ur smartphone or tablet and switch on the wifi. Connect to the airport wifi and download all the crazy things you wanted to.

- Found good 3G by gate 7. All departure areas( A to D) go to all check in counters - if u are willing to walk
- People security checking in create a lot of havoc during the morning flights to Delhi. You got to find your way through smartly.

- Maddening crowd when the Middle East flights depart - got caught in the middle of a 'migration fest' today and Learnt it the hard way! Needed 2 hrs to check in and cross immigration! Come prepared!
- Almost everything apart from Alcohol can be had cheaper in the city. So avoid shopping at the duty free.
