Amazing place- really beautiful. Make sure you go into the church to se the crazy paintings!!
Food was really good- especially the broccoli balls and pizzas! View would have been spectacular if it wasn't for the fog...
Cool, quirky decor, friendly staff and a good looking food menu. Definitely the highlight is the decoration though!
It's small and not very well laid out, but the objects on display are really interesting and different to a lot of places I've been. Very interesting!
Other site is probably marginally better, but these guys definitely do the best burgers in town. Suggest the Boom Burger!
Good dinner, clean rooms, nice breakfast and well equipped gym. All in all an excellent business hotel.

Lively bar in the cool old town part of the city. Good (but not excellent) cocktail selection, excellent ambiance.
Quiet, classy neighbourhood cafe with good fresh pasta and salads. We had meatballs which were brilliant, although the quinoa and exotic fruit salad served with it was a bit of a miss.
A really well laid out museum telling the story of Sofia's history from Neolithic times to the third Bulgarian state... shame nothing really about the Communist period as that would be interesting too

Absolutely superb museum which shows you in an unjudgemental way much of the art associated with the communist propaganda machine. Very challenging and well laid out.

The food is excellent! Don't be put off by the exterior and lack of English menu (Google Translate rocks!!) Particularly enjoyed the Macedonian Salad and zucchini with cheese...

Go for the food. Beware it is a unique (strange!) experience. There is no menu, but everything you get is awesome and you'll leave satisfied!
Interesting place to explore for a short trip from Starosel hotel and winery... fantastic piece of local history!
Amazing Roman remains, shame they haven't done more to show them off. However a lovely park for a stroll around.
