The Bosboom Tussaintstraat is beautiful in the summer. So try to get a table outside. The Italian has one dish you need to order: gnocchi with truffle. Nough said..

Everything was delicious but if you don't need gluten free crust get the regular crust - gluten free doesn't go into the wood oven!

Order the antipasti, followed by linguine vongole or gnocchi w/ truffle! Their house wine is good too. They have gluten free woodoven pizza. Ain't that good news! http://www.kitchenscript.net

I really liked their menu - it had a few extraordinary and really good options! Other than that the food is nice, proper service, casual atmosphere.

Een zeer goede pizzeria in een mooi stukje Amsterdam. De pizza Vesuvio is heerlijk! Houd rekening met het feit dat de pizza's erg groot zijn :)

Nice place ;) pizza & pasta with tomato sauce was fine, but my ravioli with mushrooms and tartufs was... with no tartufes:( I know its not Rome, but expected just a little bit more. Still tasty;))

Delicious pasta sea food.. and amazing pizzas! Truly recommend it. Don't forget the biological Pinot Grigio ;)

In één van de mooiste straten van Amsterdam kun je bij deze Italiaan voor heerlijk eten terecht. Pizza's zijn uit de houtoven en de biologische producten zijn direct geimporteerd uit Italie.

Fijn terras met terrasverwarming indien nodig. Lekkere wijn, lekkere pizza's (wood oven) en pasta's! Helemaal top!

Excellent pizza - the De Italiaan with black truffles is well worth €18 of anyone's money. Friendly staff, small but good regional Italian wine list. Everything a neighborhood restaurant should be.

It's a quaint place but the food is really rather average. My "taleggio" ravioli tasted mostly like ricotta & far better pizza can be had elsewhere in Amsterdam.

Meatballs and bruschetta were great, but the gnocchi was weird and mushy and tasted like baby food. Left hungry.

There are much better Italian pizza places in town than this, passable but disappointing. It takes much more than a wood fire oven to produce a good pizza.
