The signs in the bar say "order food at the bar," but we had a server help us. A bit confusing, but very good po'boys and bread pudding.
Windows are single-paned, so lots of street noise in our corner room. Could hear the "cars exiting" announcement from the garage across the street quite well. White noise helped us sleep.

Large barn past the pond has 2 exhibits. Go through 1 of the 2 unmarked doors for info of John Brown's life & underground railroad video & a restroom. Around back there is an exhibit on the 2nd floor.
When there's no availability, ask if you can eat at the bar. You may have to be proactive to get your order in. (We asked the hostess who took our order for us).
