Tavon .Juli 20, 2017The airport is nice. Smaller than Abu Dhabi but has nice shops and an open long hall type of seating area by departure location. The wifi is limited though which is a minus.

I think the best place in Dubai is the smoking area of the lounge in A area of Airport Terminal 3.
Anda ArkoOktober 3, 2013Free wifi is one of rare things around here, even most hotels charge you for that. Duty free staff is annoying, always breathing behind your neck (I am checking a perfume not your breath, ffs!).
Well, it’s an airport... but generally very good standards here... just don’t take too long dropping somebody off as the cops 👮 will be on your case

A JAgustus 16, 2019Clear signage, clean restrooms and Fast flow. It’s a silent airport ; make sure you keep an eye on your watch.
Don't forget to pick the VIP taxi service instead of the normal one.. There is not much difference between them. VIP taxi is more comfortable and clean. 30 to 50 dhs is the difference. Enjoy!

I landed & departed from Terminal 1. It's big, old, very busy. There are always constructions & rennovations. Frankly I didn't like Terminal 1. But internet is free of charge :))
Good place to enjoy, free wifi, good chilled drinks w/o alc, Good food - shower is available too

If you are departing from the A gates try Cho Goa restaurant . By far this is the best spot to sit , use your laptop , and grab a drink

Eva GrekJuli 6, 2013It us very long terminal, be sure if you get entry in gates C, it will be long walking distance, Fitness in one word .....
It's big, it's modern and it's mindblowingly slow... Pasaport control takes decades just like check-in... Doesn't matter if it's midnight or afternoon, you will be stuck for hours.
So convenient and lots of variety in restaurants, shops and kiosks but requires a lot of walking
Terminal 2 amazingly revamped up to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 standards!
World slowest custom immigration. 40 on queue wait for 1 hour plus. Trying to much to be the best in efficiency but still FAIL big time.

Rashid Al-MaimanyApril 12, 2018For terminal 1 Arrive at least 45 min before boarding time if you boarding pass and 2 hours if without. The walking distance from drop off till check in is a lot with metro transfer and all.
Terminal 2 is quite small but quick . Paul is under renovation:( next best thing Costa or the Marhaba lounge (could get really crowded)

mamechanNovember 10, 2013If you are flying with Emirates economy class, I recommend you to check in online in advance if it is possible. Otherwise, you have to stand in a looooong queue at the check in counter.
Aika BarzhaxynovaJanuari 1, 2017Check-in line can be long even 2.5 hours before your flight. A3 Gate doesn't let you bring in a cup of coffee even if you bought it from gate area, all drinks you buy must be sealed b4 entering A3.

If you are new to this airport, the signage is anything but intuitive. Best to ask a member of ground staff for directions.

AndyJanuari 9, 2020T1 shopping is average, duty free and a few premium brands like Boss and Burberry. Plenty of restaurants. Lots of baby change locations. Smoking lounges too.

If you're lucky enough to be traveling First Class on Emirates, prepare yourself to be amazed by the First Class Lounge at Terminal 3 (and disappointed by every other airport lounge in the world).

Dmitry T.Februari 13, 2012It is always overcrowded here... AC works too good to feel comfortable in a tshirt. U can use hotel rooms in the airport, starting with 50usd per hour. Showers also available.- Love the awesome cool lounge that connects to the boarding gate! Great shopping spree too
Very organized amazing staff they offer there help with a smile .. very respectful people 😍😍
