Make sure your ID is up to date. Had to get patted down and have my bags screened because mine was expired. Staff was very polite at least.

Don't fly out of Dulles on a Sunday evening. It's totally packed. Lines to wait in other lines.

Avoid the regional prop planes from here if at all possible. Always some sort of mechanical issue or incompetent employees.

Security is extremely slow here. Allow an extra hour or more. C and D terminals area dumps. Get food before you come.

Never underestimate the time it takes to get thru Security. It could be 20 or 2 hours. You just never know.

Wifi is ridiculously slow here. Even in the club lounges. Bring a mobile broadband card if you have it.
