How have I not left a tip for Empire yet?! This is the BEST coffee spot in Hoboken. So many fresh beans and brews. Cute shop, too. A coffee lover's paradise!
My go to is the chocolate macadamia nut coffee beans! Their beans are fresh and make the perfect morning coffee.

Best coffee place in Hoboken. Hands down. Get a quarter pound of freshly ground coffee for $2-4. Perfect size to try out new flavors.
Ask for the Tanzanian Devil blend... I swear on my life that this is one of the best you'll ever experience!- the snooki latte, pumpkin pecan biscotti and daily brews are must haves!
Great place to stop in for a fresh cup of coffee or beans for later.
If ur in a caffinated hot chocolate mood go for the snookie, won't disappoint. Othrwise med coffee w/ ameretto, can't go wrong. Yum
Chris KonecnyJuni 30, 2018Coffee was ok. They have so many different kinds I wonder how old some of the containers must be- Coffee blends are good, but the Hoboken. Kind of bland. You might think it'll taste like the Hoboken you remember or your friends talk about, but gentrification has left it tasting like a soccer mom.

I went to pay for a $1 water with a debit card and there was a $5 minimum. I had no cash on me and a worker told me to pay them later when I could. This place takes care of their customers!
Try the muffins. Super moist and delicious. I recommend Berry Blast.
They're hot coffee sleeves come with a piece of orbit gum! So clever
- Shame just ran into the owner today and she was super fanatical about her 5$ credit card min. Basically told me her time was worth more than the conversation we were having and kicked me out. Bad one
