    My favorite airport in the world. Always try here as an alternative to EWR. Free WiFi, short lines, rocking chairs, friendly people. Charming and convenient!

    What I've always loved about this airport as an airline employee is how great I've always been treated as a non-revenue passenger. Commuting is hard, but the agents here made it easier. :)

    Like most regional airports, navigating ABE is easy enough. There aren’t many food options, as one might expect. Rental cars are kind of odd, as the lot is mixed with other parking.

    The brand new security checkpoint is now on the top floor, by passenger drop off, just beyond the airline desk area.

    Starting in February, Allegiant will be flying out of ABE as a HUB. Good news: more flight options Bad news: more TSA traffic, give yourself a little extra time if you’re a frequent traveler

    I love lvia. It is consistent in how long it takes to get here as opposed to driving to the Philly airport, which sometimes takes one hour and sometimes two and a half hours.

    American Airlines does NOT allow you to bring on your American approved size carry on & will put it under the plane. You wait for it after you land then RUN to make your connecting flight on time.

    Continental and United are two different ticket areas if you are checking in at the airport. So if you bought a ticket from Continental for a United flight checkin at the United counter

    We will NEVER go to the airshow again. we bought our tickets,got our handstamp and when we went out to sit in our car for a while. Within a few minutes we were told we couldn't sit in the lot.

    If u live in PA, plan 2 travel out of state or country, it's easier to book your flights here and very convenient than having 2 travel and get lost going to Newark, JFK, or LaGuardia airport.

    TSA pre check closes when the regular line gets too long i.e an hour before departures. To make it even better the escalator up to the gate was broken so you have to carry your luggage up the steps.

    Very nice airport! St Petersburg/Clearwater airport needs to take a look at Lehigh Valley airport and refurbish theirs!!!!!

    "Flights" to ewr from here are actually buses, boarded opposite the United counter on departures level. No security to deal with.

    Don't forget you can always park off to the side for up to 30 minutes in their "in the car pickup section" as long as you stay in the car!!!

    I like this small airport, friendly, quick through security.... However every time I fly to Chicago the flight gets delayed. Spend more time waiting for the plane then on it.
