The most international airport of Germany. Operational HQ for Lufthansa.. Immaculate!
Terminal2 means always less waiting time to get to the gate. Tax free refund desks are quite busy before far east flights, try the ones after the security check.
Very busy, very confusing... Lines everywhere. But for planes lovers it's a delight ❤️
The airport is huge. 1 hour is an absolute minimum for connection. Do not hesitate to ask people to let you go in front of the security check line if you short on time

A7MAD .Januari 2, 2018One of the worest airport I have ever seen in my life. So bad experience. I can't understand how rest area around the bathroom?! too much noise. The staffs are so rude.
Freshen up by taking a shower for only 6 euros. Towels and toiletries included. Plus hair dryer. Not bad at all. 🚿
Intl departures (terminal 2) - Civilised waiting area! After clearing passport control, grab a comfy seat between gate D4-D5.
If the Security Check in Terminal 1/A is crowded, take the free Skytrain from Terminal 1/B to Terminal 1/A (upper level).......there's a separate check just for Skytrain guests...

Very large airport with many shopping options, but a small food selection. Easy to navigate, but a lot of walking required.

If you arrive at Z69 to Z64 and are connecting at an "A" gate sometimes you can go through passport control down a hallway to the left. Look for an A sign.
