Carl Griffin: Oldest pub in Buds. Seating includes very traditional high backed settles.

Carl Griffin: Great food with a Spanish flair. Beer jazz week is always a popular highlight of the year.
4. Queens Arms Botallack
Carl Griffin: Ideally situated to use as a base for visiting Land's End. Lovely spacious beer garden. Great real ales.
5. St Nicholas Cathedral
Carl Griffin: Beautiful cathedral with some impressive stained glass windows. Peaceful oasis away from the noise of the city.

Carl Griffin: Incredible choice of food from almost every international cuisine you can think of.
7. Queen Victoria Memorial
Carl Griffin: Possibly the most impressive roundabout in the World.
8. Buckingham Palace Gate
Carl Griffin: Great place from which to watch changing of the guard. Don't climb on the gates as you will be told to get down.
9. The Crown Jewels
Carl Griffin: Incredible collection of jewels and crowns. The queues are very long but it is worth the wait.
10. Traitors' Gate
Carl Griffin: If you passed into the tower as a prisoner through these gates, you never left alive.
11. The White Tower
Carl Griffin: The impressive centre piece of the tower of London.
12. St James's Park
Carl Griffin: Feed the squirrels. They are very tame and will take nuts from your hand.
13. General James Wolfe Statue
Carl Griffin: Statue of the victor of Québec. Donated by the government of Canada. He has one of the best views in London.
14. Painted Hall
Carl Griffin: Quite possibly the most impressive painted ceiling in the World.
15. Old Royal Naval College
Carl Griffin: The ceilings in the painted hall rival that of anywhere in the world.
16. Greenwich Meridian
Carl Griffin: Take a photo with one foot in the West and the other in the East.
17. Royal Observatory
Carl Griffin: Very interesting exhibits about the early days of astronomy. Check out Yuri Gagarin's statue.
18. Framwellgate Bridge
Carl Griffin: Stunning views back across to the castle and cathedral.
19. University College
Carl Griffin: Possibly the best college accommodation ever. Who wouldn't be exited about living in a Norman castle.
20. St Cuthbert's Society
Carl Griffin: Best college at Durham Uni for the social side.
21. Shildon Football Club
Carl Griffin: Friendly football club. Games are very enjoyable, especially when against local rivals.
22. Shields Ferry
Carl Griffin: Best way to get from South Shields to North Shields. The captain looks like Sting.
23. South Shields Pier
Carl Griffin: Great place to watch all the ships and ferries enter the River Tyne.
24. Metrocentre
Carl Griffin: Huge shopping centre with all the shops you could ever want present. The theme park is a great place to entertain the children.
25. Saltwell Park
Carl Griffin: Tremendous park to explore. The children will really enjoy running around.
26. Graham Sports Centre, Maiden Castle
Carl Griffin: Amazing standard of sports facilities.
27. Black Middens Bastle House
Carl Griffin: Fortified farmhouse with thick walls. Typical of the troubled Anglo-Scottish borderlands.
28. Lower Ferry
Carl Griffin: Reasonably cheap crossing. Much better than taking a long ride to the nearest bridge.
29. Bayard's Cove Fort
Carl Griffin: Interesting remains of a Tudor artillery fort designed to protect the harbour.
30. Walden Castle
Carl Griffin: Flint core remains of a three storey Norman castle keep.
