    Built 1959, opened for business 1960. Though the once thriving area declined into a rough neighborhood, the bowling alley hung on, staying in business as Tuscon’s largest bowling center, w/ 48 lanes.

    The bowling alley was up for sale recently. Pima County voted on May 15, 2018 to buy it and renovate it into county office spaces. Golden Pin Lanes should be open for another year before that happens.
