    I prefer to sit at the serpentine counter. If not the raw delicacies (clams/oysters), get the manhattan clam chowder and the fried oysters.

    産地様々な牡蠣、これにつきます。店員さんに聞いたら大きいやつとか、オススメとか教えてもらえるので参考になります。チャウダーはちょっとしょっぱすぎかな…牡蠣をさっと食べて、他のお店へハシゴも、いいかと。

    Pecking order: 1) shucking bar 2) horse shoe service bars 3) tables. When you walk in here you feel like you've dropped into the 30's. Vaulted ceilings add to the overall feel.

    ニューヨークのグランドセントラル駅構内にある1913年創業のオイスターバー＆レストラン。オイスターバー発祥の地。牡蠣の仕入れ状況が毎日変わるためにメニュー表は、毎日印刷されています（Webでも確認可）。オイスターやその他料理のはもちろんですが、最初に出てくるパンがとても美味しい。ランチタイム＆ディナータイムは、かなり混み合うので、予約がベター。お店のグッツも販売されています。
