I've tried them all and this is the best sushi place in Jersey City. Like everyone else said, get the spicy tuna tartare.
Rock shrimp - the perfect appetizer to share with friends. YumiNovember 10, 2017Happy hours is pretty cool, I got Japanese whiskey for $ 6 -unbelievable price. Omakase is fantastic, fancy fish, excellent oyster with Michellin star presentation. Oysters are $ 1 off and many appetizers for $ 5. I left very satisfied for $ 30.

- Yujin EJuni 20, 2017Been here many times. Their omakase is top - fancy fish from Tsukiji, love so much LIVE scallop & LIVE shrimp (it is real live). Compare to Manhattan sushi, they are much cheaper. Sake is superb!

- Be.JaDesember 15, 2017Don't skip Omakase when the head chef there. His skill blows your mind. Two thumbs up for Japanese whiskey and sake collections. Service is very attentive.
My favorite is the sushi platter for 2! Very much worth the value. Get the soba noodles, not the ramen if u want something warm!

Try the Montgomery Roll - Spicy tuna, fresh salmon, toasted eel, avocado, tobiko and eel sauce
By now everyone knows that you must order the spicy tuna tartar but after you're done keep the sauce to dip in other rolls or your fingers! Haha

Fried oysters, whole squid calamari, & spicy tuna tartar. Do it! Also, Stop by the liquor store up the block & pick up some tall boys of Asahi.
Be daring...Get the uni... Mash it in your soy sauce and enjoy the flavor as you dip everrything else. Amazing.
Liza PDesember 24, 2021Omakase is very good ...but...last time I was there we saw a rat so I'm never going back- Don't forget the desserts too! Fried bananas or the spring roll cheesecake are to die for!
Great Sushi place. Lobster Rolls are a bit pricey, but worth every penny.
Two hours later and I'm still saying how good it was. Spider roll and spicy tuna tartar app. Drool.
