Breakfast spot in the Ojai Valley Inn and spa. No cheap but a very nice place to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. Celebrity spotting not uncommon either.

Very nice hotel walking distance to Chase Field - ask for a room with a soaking tub in the shower area. Pool area is great as well.

Yes it's touristy and yes there are a billion people walking the grounds. But who cares. It's amazing. Sensory overload - beautiful and unforgettable.
Top rate omelette parlor. Cheese a bit heavy. The place is popular - expect a wait. That said, fresh ingredients, friendly service +wonderful bread w/jam makes me wish I had one of these near my home!
Powerful exhibit showing the mass deportation of Jews during World War II. This old theater is where they were held awaiting deportation. Watch the documentary + visit the rooms. There is no charge.
Update - this trip I paid a lot more for a canal room -but the room was so small + finding outlets and adapters for all the modern devices was a challenge. Service was overwhelmed/slow this visit.

Powerful experience. Truly a must do in Amsterdam - maybe more so in today's crazy world. Book on internet weeks before trip. Same day line is for entry after 3:30 and is easily a full 2 hours.
There are more hotels in this airport than in some cities! If flying in late, the Sofitel is a very nice place to stay and has an amazing breakfast buffet.
