Pretty sure everyone here is stoned, not just the waitresses. :) Service was fine, relax people! Great people watching in Venice Beach, good selection of beers, tasty grilled cheese.
Truffle-lovers paradise. Get the risotto or carpaccio, but not both - that's just greedy. Classic fettuccine bolognese is delicious. Love the atmosphere here, especially the dramatic Italian accents.
Nice but not pretentious. The meats are excellent - try the fennel sausage and rabbit meatballs. "Hidden" back patio is perfect for enjoying mild Santa Monica evenings with friends and lots of wine.
Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Comfortable yet elegant Nantucket feel to the lobby, restaurants and rooms. Have a pre-dinner cocktail and enjoy the live jazz Weds-Sat around 6pm in the lobby.
SRO is the best quick-serv in the area. Food is prepared to order and always hits the spot. Turkey chili is the best (not avail in summer); burgers, gryos, subs all delish.
