- If you fly American - go downstairs - great healthy food store and a great baseball cap store. :-)
- If you are departing from terminal C, and have TSA Precheck, get dropped off at door 1.
- Think of the best airport in the world with the most thought out process on getting in and out. Then take all its garbage and dump it in Queens.
- Carol Ann SchwartzOktober 16, 2013The Delta food terminal is GREAT good choices good music tons of plus at gate tables too!
- Travel + LeisureJuli 30, 2012Didn’t have time to shop in the city? Head to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Store in the Central Terminal, selling everything from canvas prints to handcrafted jewelry.
- Clifford RyanJuli 16, 2013Get a MetroPass at the airport (or $2.50 in quarters) and get on the Q33 bus to Roosevelt Ave Bus Terminal (last stop). Transfer to the 7, E, F, M or R train, depending on where you are headed.
- Terminal C & D are where it’s at! Delta remodeled years ago and it allows you to side steps the construction of B.
- Paul TroupeAgustus 17, 2014Best way to get out is through the metro. Cab line is long. Get here early, even though your flight will be late
- FYI, toothpaste cannot be more than 3 oz in your carry on. TSA is worried you might use it in a hostile takeover of the airplane and everyone will have minty fresh breath.
- TIPTOP TIP; Food Court food is better with more variety. If you are passed security and can stow your luggage, get a 'pink card' as you leave security, get your food and walk by the 30' long line!
- Amanda ThauJuni 6, 2016Surprisingly nice airport. Lots of iPads and individual seating in the Delta terminal.
- Best for commute to and from, but pretty standard terminals once you are there.
- DJ ASIOJuni 25, 2012You have to wait? I'm a French DJ who prepared you à good mix of Deep House Music... Stand relax and listen to it. Baca selanjutnya
- Allow a little extra time. Road exits keep changing. Construction makes things a little complicated.
- Valentin VasilevskiyNovember 8, 2013Кожаные кресла, зарядка под боком, дружелюбные сотрудники, почти домашняя спокойная атмосфера. Всё не по-нашему.
- At Terminal B? Get an Auntie Anne's pretzel - mallrat style. You won't regret it!
- Haters are going to hate. This airport is more often then not 20-30 minutes from midtown Manhattan. Of course it's frenetic. If that surprises you, you're really in for a shock once you leave.
- The m60 bus from manhattan is the best way to get here!!! Super fast and cheap
- If for some reason, you're looking for United Club, it's actually outside the security line. (This airport has an odd layout.) Concourse C, behind the ticket counters.
- If you're looking for a cab at Terminal C, make a right and walk 350 feet - there's a second stand at a traffic circle with a better taxi-to-passenger ratio (and no black cab touts).
- Lots of construction going on people, so be extra early!
- I'm always nice and calm in he plane but when I look down the windows I am scared of heights.
- Terminal D (Delta) is one of my favorite US terminals; great food choices, contemporary layout and iPads for everyone - whether you are in the gate area or in a restaurant. Superior experience.
- Impressed with the level of service and cleanliness of the facilities 👏👏👏👏👏
- Good food option in Terminal D: Crust. Pizza, grilled sandwiches and decent wine selection.
- Need some EDM music during your flight. Download the DJ BIJAL iPhone app. Works without wifi or data connections. Great for flights. http://bit.ly/BIJALIPhoneApp
- Eldian AguilarJuni 18, 2013Take the subway everywhere and use HopStop app to guide you around locations, with a combination of google maps for iOS you are set for walking
- DaniFebruari 25, 2013LaGuardia Airport was the first airport in the U.S. to be built on partially reclaimed land, which was also used in Tokyo and Hong Kong. LGA has outgrown its capacity, terminals feel a bit cramped.
- If you're flying in from the Midwest, the best Manhattan views are on the left side of the plane.
- Best airport for hipsters - you simply can't beat a $25, 15-minute cab ride from Williamsburg.
- Best DelegateSeptember 6, 2011No direct subway line into the city. Recommend taking a shuttle bus that takes you to midtown. Also, you can consider sharing a cab, but lines may be long.
- There aren't many food options in the AA terminal, but Healthy Gourmet has good French press coffee and egg white flatbread sandwiches.
- If you're returning a rental car better plan a lot of extra time. Need to take 2 busses and then walk quite a bit, especially if you're going to terminal D.
- If you're not eating carbs, your best options are some of the pre-made salads at various food spots.
- A cab from the city to LGA or vice versa should run about $36. Don't go for the smooth talking curbside attendants trying to get you into the city for $65. Scammy
- Christopher ZollerOktober 10, 2013Delta terminal D has lots of free I Pads fot internet, e-mail or gaming while you wait!
- Daniel M.Agustus 13, 2012If you're flying on Southwest, be advised they do not assign seats. Head directly toward the middle of the aircraft and grab an emergency exit row. This way you're guaranteed an aisle or window seat.
- Yitz JordanApril 19, 2012Come prepared if you have a departing flight, you can get through security mad quick if you have everything in order. This is NEW YORK, don't hold up the security lines :-)
- If you land here during the middle of the day, and take a $25-35 dollar cab instead of the $2.25 M60 Bus to Manhattan, you, sir or madam, are a chump, and deserve to lose your money.
- Liza Casatelli MarianiApril 13, 2015They now have new iPad stations where you can even order something to eat or drink right from the iPad!!
- Terminal B is brand new - definitely save room for Shake Shack
- So you are hungry. Enough to trick yourself that Cosi's isn't as bad as last thought. STOP! You are better than microwaved tuna sanga on ancient bread. Thats right, keep walking. Don't look back.
- One mile of walking from Terminal B entrance to JetBlue’s first gate. Looks nice but much of this waste is mall shops & mediocre food. Renovation should have included public transportation. Grade: D-
- There’s free WiFi. Refill your bottles at the water fountains/water stations.
- Karen MajorMaret 4, 2019I am in terminal C gate 23 area. It is very cramped not enough seating. Most seating is for those seated to order from the restaurant.
- Vivek GuptaNovember 3, 2013The coffee shop in the Terminal B food court is open 24hrs in case you need it.. but it's pricey - $4 for a bottle of water. Take the free shuttle to get between the terminals.
