Explore ChicagoDesember 6, 2011Besides its reputation for a wide range of class offerings in ceramics, painting, drawing, & photography, Lillstreet has an amazing gallery shop featuring original artwork & handcrafted gifts.
Great place to learn, have fun or get serious with art. From painting, pottery/ceramics, jewelry making, printing etc etc. A great place to let your artistic side flourish.
Take Tony Porter's drawing class. Great instructor. It's a great place for those with little experience to explore their creative curiosity.
The painting classes can be fun, esp the more experimental ones. Avoid the "first time" classes unless you really have _no_ art background whatsoever.

This is a great place to take classes. Check out the metals department!- The annual student member show is in a week. There is sure to be some great pieces.
