- Sabrina KaeferJuli 15, 2013Hey guys check out this awesome free app I just discovered. It’s called BuzzMob and it’s a great way to get connected with everyone, find out about restaurants, and flight schedules here at LAX.
- Plenty of food options and coffee. Airport is under construction in some areas but it’s pretty efficient. Many flight options too!
- Melissa BrennerAgustus 17, 2012Always super busy. Luckily there are outlets around the waiting areas of the terminals in case you need to charge your phone. Try food at a place you've never heard of, some of it is good
- Kayla HensonSeptember 14, 2012Have to say I'm with everyone else who says FLY VIRGIN. They make your flight experience way smoother than the other airlines. Great inflight entertainment options.
- But e-tickets get in and out ASAP bring print out of confirmation and keep on pushing yikes pay for luggage one time online and save that money so you can focus on other things
- Vegetarian & on a budget in Terminal 7? The best deal would be Carl's Jr/Green Burrito - a cheese quesadilla with beans is $3.49 plus tax #traveldeals
- Taking a red eye? Buy one of these sleepy neck pillows at the gift shop. Well worth the $15. But don't pull the tag off or the little inside beads will fall out :(
- If you're flying southwest biz. You can get extra drink tix by checking in (u get a drink ticket) then change your flight (get another drink ticket) rinse and repeat as much as you want ;)
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍Desember 14, 2019LAX is a gigantic airport and the hub of SoCal. No matter what day and time it's jam packed. Getting from one terminal to another can be a real pain in the a**; keep in mind to allocate plenty of time
- Learn the streets within the airport. If you're trying to get out of the airport from terminal one and go all the way around, you're missing a great shortcut!
- Rayne DeReonMei 15, 2014Free WiFi, not much seating in the holding area at gates 61 & 63, make sure to come early to this gate if you care to sit comfortably.
- All the outlets on those Samsung charging stations occupied? Not to fret -- there are power outlets to be found at LAX. Just gotta keep your eyes open. Tip: bring a power strip and share an outlet.
- Make sure u budget extra time for arriving to your terminal. Google maps only calculates the time to get to the airport itself.
- If you're here for a 6am flight, and like me, you like soup for breakfast, CPK starts serving soup at 5am (2 vegetarian options too).

- Tee DJuli 3, 2017Clean family restrooms. Nursing rooms available but on high demand so make sure to get in there before your baby becomes hungry!
- On a busy night it can take an hour to drive once around World Way so don't warn your friend who is picking you up because you might lose your ride.
- Look for the underground train. It takes you from terminal to terminal with out having to go out side. They have golf carts down there moving people and bags around.
- KAL lounge wi-fi doesn't require a password. Was able to access it near Starbucks on ground floor
- Joshua Herzig-MarxNovember 18, 2016Terminal 3 is terrible: small, crowded, insufficient security stations, long lines, few amenities, and in desperate need of a revamp. But the dog walk area is a nice treat to get outside in the AM.
- Share video and photos from your travel experiences with us on DTour. You have a chance at winning a stay with DoubleTree. Don't forget to check out the quaint town of El Segundo minutes south of LAX.
- DoubleTree by HiltonAgustus 7, 2013If craft beers are your thing, come by the El Segundo Brewing Company for specialty craft beers just minutes from LAX! Tap room open at select times Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

- You can walk between all terminals 4 through 8. This really expands your dining and drinking options!
- When finding ground transit upon leaving, walk along the sidewalk close to the terminals until reaching the kind you need, then cross over to the p/u island. Don't walk from island to island.
- Hubert FischerSeptember 26, 2013Chaotic airport - remember there are three floors for which you do not find guiding signs: 1st Floor: Security Area, 2nd Floor: Street level and Arrivals, 3rd Level: Departures.
- LAX seems to always be under construction. Traffic is also super unpredictable once you get into the main loop. Best airport for flying into the west side of LA.
- Jackie BitongMei 25, 2013LA baby though I can't get out of the Airport lounge cuz I don't have a bloody green card but got a change to stepped my happy feet in America baaybe my dream Country but for 2 hours only 12/5/13 :)
- If you have an early flight, 5am our earlier, the TSA preapproved section is not open.. You can show your boarding pass and not take off your shoes, but laptop/tablets have to come out. Now u know.
- If you are reading about some cool thing in another terminal (and if you have time), remember that terminals 4 (TBIT) and higher are connected by tunnels. No need to go through security.
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)April 21, 2017[PIC] XL Airways France is moving in May from T2 to T6. Other airlines moving too. Contact your airline and http://www.laxishappening.com/laxonthemove.aspx) #LAXontheMOVE
- Walk around the different arrival terminals to find an empty spot for waiting. Right before the exit gaps is ideal!
- Jane DoeSeptember 2, 2014Fly Delta! They give you actual food (starbucks-esque little healthy boxes) not those airline peanuts we're all used to. 😍🍴☕️
- The international terminal is outstanding. Excellent people watching and plane spotting to be had.
- Breathe deep: LA has that amazing sweet, desert air. And make sure your sunglasses are within easy reach.
- Nikesh MistryMaret 4, 2022If you're getting a taxi or an uber / lyft, walk 5 mins down to LAX-IT. You'll save about $25+ by just doing that.
- Lemonade at gate 52 is always delish! Especially when it comes to vegetarian options. Try the chili!
- The lines are crazy long, but they also move pretty fast. The security folks have it down to a science. You never know though, I'd still get here 2 hrs before your flight.
- Diana MMaret 31, 2015If you have a long layover and construction here is the bain of your existence; take the Lot C bus to the city bus terminal and jump on the Big Blue Bus #3 (Northbound) to Santa Monica for US$1.
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)Agustus 8, 2017Be in the know and plan ahead! Temporary lane closures on eastbound Century Blvd., near LAX from Aug. 8-18 (9AM-3:30PM) for potholing work. #laxishappening [PIC]
- When travelling with a buddy, NEVER BOOK ON SEPARATE AIRLINES. I flew Virgin. He flew Alaska. We were literally at the 2 furthest terminals you could be at LAX... Hope you enjoy long walks!!
- Jenny MoomooJuli 13, 2015This place is crazy . be ready to swap gates.TSA is a little bit more specific any other airport I have been too which is expected, so be ready for instructions.
- For how large of an airport this is, it is always well organized and security is typically pretty fast!
