If you're in the pub, go up the stairs to the roof for a drink. The heaters are decent so it's good in the evenings too.

Best beer in Amsterdam, & a great place to enjoy it outdoors on tables under the Windmill. Highly recommend the IPA and also the Columbus if you like strong Belgian beer. Cheese plate & Eggs or death.
It is a beautiful old place in middle Amsterdam where time stopped! And still only ladies live here! Try to join if possible a concert in the English church if you can!
One of the best views of the city not to mention an ultra cool modern library. Go to the top floor, order a hot chocolate and enjoy the view.
This huge public urban park is the best place to relax and hang out. The open-air theatre holds free concerts. Also don't miss the Netherlands Filmmuseum at the pavilion Vondelparkpaviljoen.
The park is amazing, but the flower fields around is heaven! Worthy to rent a bike to go to the fields. Arrive really early if you want to go both to the park and the fields in the same day.
Book your tickets in advance online or on the hotel (they can print them out!) - for not waiting in queues (up to 1 hour!) ... beautiful architecture - great photo spot with the park outside!
This is perhaps one of the most unique castles, you'll ever see. In this government complex, you'd have to pay to see the magnificent state rooms, but roaming around the castle will be enough.
Had such a great time here & what a lovely view from the top. You can also dress up in clothes from that time period above gift shop.

I'm not even religious but this is an absolutely gorgeous cathedral. Unfortunately was closed the week of saint Patricks.
Gorgeous manor house w/stunning grounds & historic architecture. Deluxe rooms are spacious. Activity tip: try the Archery lessons. They are great fun
