AnnieMei 28, 2012Great tour, kid-friendly. (have a special place for them to sit during tasting). Picturesque. Distillery shuts down do a month in early summer. You can still do tour; stills are empty. Spotty cel svc.
The idea of sticking your finger in the fermenting tank might sound gross at first, but make sure to try a couple of the tanks to see how the mash changes as it goes through fermentation.

If you're ever out in our neck of the woods, stop by the distillery to see your whiskey being made in person. There's nothing like it. In 2012, we'll stop mashing between May 23 and June 23 for maintenance, but we'll still conduct tours. Closed Sunday January and February.
