So happy they now have premier lanes for airlines at security...no more chaos. Went through in less than 10 minutes.....whoo hoo
Russell BakerDesember 18, 2011It takes 15 minutes to walk in to the airport and get to your designated gate, if it takes any longer you have a large family, are a terrorist, or an idiot.
If you are hungry for breakfast, eat before you get here. The food choices really suck. Security is a nightmare with a ton of screaming kids. Tough airport if you are here on business.
Arrive early and bring your patience. This place is full of elderly and clueless tourist families.

Free parking in the garage for 20 minutes. There is a cell lot for waiting south of the terminal near the Red Lot.
Get here two hours early, check in takes 30 mins AT LEAST, and you have to go through security another 30 minutes. Then wait for a moneral to get to the gate.

If it is not ABSOLUTELY necessary to check your bag to MCO DON'T. It takes at least 45 minutes from landing for your bags to come out.
This has got to be the most disorganized airport in the country. Why would you have 15 lines filter into 1 with no assistance?And, that 15 minutes from this point sign? Yeah, right, it's at least 45.

Everytime I come here it feels like the airport gets bigger and busier.
When returning a rental car, DO NOT refuel at Suncoast Energy or Sun Gas. They price gouge, and charge $5.95/gallon for gas. No signs posted outside. Be warned!

Beware the "touron". You can spot them by ther mouse ears, overflowing luggage and theme park bounty, exhausted kids and the smell of churos!

Security line is longest I have seen in ages. It was a one hour wait at 545 am! Get here early!
