@tntp45Maret 10, 2011If you are stuck in D terminal there is only one place to go: The Bacardi Mojito bar with the new restaurant serves fresh salads, sandwiches and original recipes. Friendly service and a good bar.
If you're getting a TAXI from MIA & want to pay with a credit card, ask the driver first. It's hard to believe in this day & age but most Miami cabs DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS.

I'm not a big fan of MIA as its not that easy to get around if you have to switch airlines. Good airport to come through if you are heading to South America but for domestic travel go FT Lauderdale

The BEST food is at La Carreta near gate D37. Hmmmm it niiiiice!!!!! Breakfast lunch or dinner. Can't go wrong.
Dean RussellJuni 18, 2012For international flights use curb side check-in. You get bags checked faster, get your boarding pass, and you can head right to the security check, which is a guaranteed long line.
You are in Miami! Yay. Remember to leave extra time on your return to the airport. The main way out of the keys was closed (fire maybe) so we has to take the long and slow way.
Gate E. No line for TSA precheck. But line for Clear. If you have PSA precheck, they hand you blue card after going thru security so you don’t have to take off shoes.

Worse airport in the USA. The soft carpeting makes wheeling luggage feel like you’re dragging it through sand, and bathroom stalls are barely big enough to accommodate a suitcase and close the door.

KarolinaMei 19, 2013Curb side check in: with American Airlines they won't give you boarding pass if you tell them that you still have to bring back rental. Lie, or have the car returned prior. :-)
This airport goes on for days! It last trams, levels, gates like you wouldn't believe. Old people get lost here or lose their life just walking around. "I've fallen, and I can't get up!"
Taxi to/from Mia Beach is a fixed rate of $32. Takes 10 minutes from SoBe, if no traffic. If on a budget, & have the time, the MIA Flyer (150 line) bus runs twice an hour, takes 45 minutes, $2.25.
Ask for directions--the signage makes no sense and you can easily walk in circles if you don't get some expert help from airport staff. #MIAisAwful

Aeropuerto si Wi Fi gratis. Si estas muy justo para la salida, te recomiendo hablar con personal que está en la fila de migraciones para que te den prioridad para hacer el chequeo

Difícilmente puedas conseguir conectarte al wifi gratuito, pero acércate hasta cualquiera de los locales de gastronomía que la mayoría tiene servicio y sin clave.

Half the moving walk ways are in disrepair. They are narrow anyways and hard to use with bags.
Lots of options and plenty of Admirals Clubs. MIA is a good airport to get in and out of.
When picking up someone, don't park unless you absolutely must. Use the cell phone lot.
