Ashok LalwaniApril 4, 2015Yummy & very unique ice cream flavors. I think they have more flavors available everyday than Bi-rite or other popular places in Sf. The ones we tried were Ube (Purple Yam), Thai Tea & Irish Coffee.
These folks are super efficient so don't get discouraged if you see a long line or if your place in it is 30 numbers back. You'll never wait as long as you think you will.

A must for ice cream in SF. Toasted almond is awesome, but I honestly haven't gotten anything I didn't love. (Don't forget to grab a number when you get there.)
Best ice cream shop in SF. Try the grasshopper pie. If you're not into chocolate, try their mango or ube.

The ice-cream here is so good. These guys have been around for decades and their tropical flavors are particularly famous. Also great to take a pint of ice-cream home for the freezer. Today I almost went with White Pistachio again but instead I got festive; the Egg Nog ice cream is ridiculously good!

Easily the best ice cream in San Francisco. I highly recommend flavors such as horchata as a malt. It’s heaven!

If there's a super long line, pick a one of the pre-made half gallons and go straight to the front of the line. Then tack on a couple sugar cones and you're set!

Avocado is soooooo yummy. It's like eating a real avocado w all the goodness of ice-cream. Best to top it w the baby coconut yummm!

Love their grasshopper ice cream! Mint chocolate chip + Oreos. No matter when you come it's always busy but it is well worth the wait. Make sure to hurry in and grab a number.

Coconut Pineapple es major! Don't try a quick trip here on a sunny day or a rainy day! This place is always poppin!!! No ice cream is better than theirs, loards or fentons doesn't even cone close!

I do like Mitchell's and though its one of the 'go to' places in SF but personally I'm not like omg about it but if someone's like let's go then ok I'll go but I wouldn't propose it🍦
Toasted almond ice cream is my favorite (no almond extract flavor, just toasty goodness.)
BommyNovember 17, 2015Not sure why it's so popular as the ice cream just tastes normal. Do not get the avocado flavor as it tastes like nothing. Waffle cone is tasty but there are better ice cream shops in sf.
