Steph ShyuMei 3, 2023Super confusing station. C and E trains are on separate track levels and local trains don’t always stop here. Save yourself the heartache, suck it up, and just catch the ACE at Times Square.
You can get mobile service at the back of the C train platform going uptown and at the front going uptown.
If you can't hear the announcements, stand at the top of the stairs. When you feel wind and E train is arriving.

MatthijsOktober 25, 2014The WiFi sucks, only use it when traveling with the C train because they are equally slow
on the southbound side the loud extended beeps indicate a train approaching on the lower level.
Be prepared to wait for what seems like an eternity for the C. Especially dowtown bound C's
