Nigel: Completed in 1959 to house the Australian Academy of Science, the Shine Dome’s arches offer 16 different views of Canberra when viewed from its inner walkway.
Bear Hugs: Forget supermarkets claiming to have fresh food - you gotta shop at Fyshwick markets if you want TRULY fresh fruit & veggies. Plus great atmosphere - in place to be on Saturday morning.
Nigel: Prime Minister Robert Menzies championed the development of Canberra as the national capital, and this walk along the northern edge of the lake is named in his honour.
Nigel: This is an excellent and well-maintained local park with plenty of places to sit with your coffee from the nearby cafes. Also has playground and exercise station.
Tomfoolery: Easily one of the best places to visit in Canberra. The collection is actually incredible (Pollock's Blue Poles!) and the brutalist architecture is pretty damn cool too!
