The BEST chowder on the wharf hands down. The crab cakes are my absolute favorite. The crab pasta is also fantastic. Love the old school charm!
James CJuli 29, 2013Best Food on the Wharf. It has all of the San Francisco eats that you want to try. Crab Cake is to die for. The Market Crab is amazing. The Cioppino is crazy good and the drinks are fantastic.

Landmark aside, the menu and food preparation haven't changed much since I first went... back in '85 (age 3). Not that that's a bad thing. The spumoni is always good and the booze isn't watered down,
Doug TaylorJanuari 17, 2013Not recommended!! Service is beyond slow! Never got a drink refill. Waited 30 minutes just for a check. Halibut was cold and tough and veggies hard as a rock. Food is as old as the establishment.
Wim GoddenNovember 4, 2011Been coming here for 20 years... the decor and menu might be the same, the food quality certainly isn't. Clam chowder was terrible (compared to the one they serve at Le Boudin), swordfish was just ok.
