Hide from all the noise and stress by grabbing a bite at Sinnataggen. Great food! Also, if you don't want to stand in line for using the restrooms, Sinnataggen is the place to go.
When arriving at the top of the stairs at the departure Hall, do a sharp left turn. The check-in machines there have way shorter queues than the others which you would see straight ahead.
Try the new Starbucks Tribute Blend Fresh Brewed Coffee! Tribute Blend® combines four of customers’ all-time favorite coffees from all three growing regions.
The Global Blue counter (tax refund) is BEFORE the security check. But if you missed it and are now past security, go to the bookstore near gate E2. Someone can process it there too.
You can take the Flybussekspressen (Express Bus) instead of train. Stops in many bus stations in Oslo. Cheaper if you buy a ticket online. Free wifi. Ask at the info office or visit nor-way.no
Clean, modern and efficient airport....small minus that there are too much of shopping space. You have to go through shopping area with so much candies....
Lovely modern airport... if going to Oslo take the train into city! Much faster & cheaper. Cab Fare is extremely expensive. You will pay 200 usd vs 25 usd.
Efficiënt and clean. Best way to get to the city centre is taking the regular train. (The express train is much more expensive and doesn't save you that much time)
Once you go from the domestic to the international gates, there is no more decent food - unless you want greaseballs from Pizza Hut. So when hungry hang around in the domestic area for a bit.
Friendly and helpful staff )) I forgot Belgian ale on board and in the morning they returned those two nice bottles to me! :) was as happy as a puppy ))
Empty your water bottle before going through security checkpoints. There are drinkable water faucets behind of the security checkpoints, nearby DNB currency withdrawal machines. Refill bottles there.
If you are a student of an institution that uses an eduroam hotspot, you may be able to get some signal here. That way you don't need to log-on to other hotspots.
For a city like Oslo, Flytoget (airportexpress train) isn't priced too badly. It's cheaper than Stockholm's Arlanda Express at only NOK340 (£38) vs SEK500 (£50) return. Half-price for students.
Waiting for a domestic flight you'll find power outlets under the high bench along the wall at Monolitten and along the bottom by the windows at the bar on the left halfway down.
If you struggle with your Staralliance Gold card for fast track, ask officer to try on different scanners..Worked well for me with Aegean Gold on SAS flight.
If possible use the self service check-in by the entrance. You'll get your boarding card & luggage tag, just drop your luggage at the luggage drop point. It's easier & faster than ordinary check in!
Take the Nor-Way bus express to anywhere in Oslo. Departure every 20 minutes, clean and comfortable coaches. Unless your destination is near a railway station, it's cheaper and quicker than the train.
When leaving on an international flight, walk to the left to avoid the horrible, perfume smelling, full of bright lights and nagging advertisements and cosmetics pushing tax free. Aaaah, serenity now.
Long layover? The bathrooms down the stairs next to the fine salmon shop have bigger vestibules with private sinks in each for cleaning up. Kinda hidden but such a good find.
По прилёту пасп. контроль занял час. Не вставайте в левое окно, в него без очереди проходят старики на колясках и инвалиды, очередь двигается медленнее. Спрашивали обратный билет и план пребывания
