Kayak the creek!! You can take a thirty minute trip from the PPD to the American Legion, or a two hour (4mile) trip from the PPD to the take out spot on Reuben Road!!!! Nothing quite like it!!
We love this park it's versatile and clean and the Water is beautiful and cold in summer...the creek i mean.
Took my 12-yr-old son swimming in the creek by the park today... the water was perfect - not too cold, but so nice in this heat. We had a blast!
This is really a great park! Beautiful area with lots of tree, a lake, and a creek. Dog friendly (just make sure you clean up after then please)
Bill's Tips of the day. Go to Pratt Park and vote, enjoy life wet or dry , leave the park, creek etc better than you found it. Live long and prosper or is that too much like Spock. Lol.

When I go to voteprattpark.com & click foursquare mobile check in link, a window pops up & I check in. It says I have checked in 4 times; foursquare.com says 20 check ins?? I AM following timing rules
6 of us sisters who love to meet and relive our ''youth'' come on Pratt Park be America's Favorite Park 2012 !!! we are ALL in...woot woot woot woot woot woot- Check ins may only be done 3 per hour, but you can check in every 15 mins because the fourth time you check in, it's the next hour!
- Go to The Cafe tomorrow from 6-9 pm for dancing, food, drinks, voting, and FUN!!!!
Be sure to check I agree to the America is your park rules each time or your vote will not count on the coke individual votes site!- Over the weekend I saw so many having fun in the park or in the water I couldn't count that them all. Here's some pictures.
Pay no attention to the foursquare points. If you check in once every 15min and only 3 times in one hour the coke grant program will count it.
remember teaching swim lessons in the old pool - never been in water so cold - fed from artisian well!

The CocaCola site says their site will be down from 10am until 4 pm today for maintenance. Says votes & check ins during that time will not count.
A Child's Place in the park is a wonderful place for kids to play.
