My unbeatable favorite combo: A cup of latte (iced or hot) with a slice of banana caramel cake. The place can be very very crowded especially during weekends, come early in the morning would be best.
You wouldn't go wrong with lobster soup! Try also one of the fish kebabs, from char, salmon to cod, oh and everything is fresh here! The potato salad is also a perfect side dish to the meal.
Of course cinnamon bun is a must here!! But luckily I also found a ginger cake which turned out to be the bakery's specialty. Their sandwiches seems worth to try to, large in size and fresh!
Norwegians have their own meatballs and here they made it so good! Served with mushy peas and lingonberries, exquisite! The fish macaroni pie is also recommended. Place gets packed in the evening.
I'm sure everything behind that glass display won't disappoint. In fact, just close your eyes and point at one if you're an indecisive person like me when it comes to dessert!
Must have Swedish meatballs! Traditional and authentic. Tried the Biff Rydberg as per waiter's reco and it was really really good. Outdoor seating is nice and can ask for blanket if its a bit chilly.
Rendang is a must! The beef is tender and juicy, always nice to have it with the Paru Goreng. Get the rice set with vegetables for a good deal, crackers included too. Price is very much reasonable.
Both exterior and interior design of the hotel are very modern yet warm and homey. Got free upgrade and a chocolate box with a wedding congratulations note from the hotel staff, nice personal touch!
Very homey and cozy place, not many seatings so better come early. The Pork Chop is mind blowing, juicy, tender and flavorful. Waiters are attentive and helpful, whole dining experience is very nice!
Location is perfect, just around the corner of Central Station. Lobby lounge has very nice design! Self check in system in the lobby is very efficient as well. (If the QR code reader is working well)
The creamy fish soup was a very good start! Had the lobster and king crabs, served cold Norwegian style with aioli (butter + lemon), which were delicious! The mayonnaise served as an excellent dip!
Great range of flavorful mocktails and unique presentation! Love the terong balacan and fried rice...it's so so nice having homey cooked meals with awesome cozy interior!
Flat White is good! Like it better with half of brown sugar sachet. Would love to come back and try the waffle 😋
Very stylish and cozy small hotel. Scandinavian meets Javanese style in a very elegant way! Staffs are friendly. Food at Waha Kitchen are quite worth it. Really really love the furnitures in the room!
Best foie gras I had so far! Salmon pizza is very delicious, truffle oil and onions on the pizza are perfect combination. Sushi rolls come in unique flavors yet each is very very tasty!!
Found out they moved to a larger corner just beside their old place. Sweet Morning is as delightful as before. Tried Norwegian Eggs Benedict but it's not as delicious as the European.
Two best things here are the draft Nest Beer and it's included in happy hour! They also has interesting selections of other beers. They need to work on food though, the yakitori is pretty standard.
Too hungry so didn't take pic but the katsus here are so delightful, crisp and not too oily. the miso sauce is a great condiment. Definitely a come back!
