Make a reservation for the plant tour before you get to Munich, because Germans love to plan things waaay in advance.
Stylish, convenient sightseeing location, delicious breakfast. Beds too firm & wish we chose a room at the back. Our very spacious 4th floor, corner, street-facing room was lovely but LOUD.
Take a break from walking, grab a coffee to-go at Odeonsplatz and sit on a bench in this beautiful garden!
Loved this place! Exquisite dark chocolate truffles, interesting nuances and very smooth. Artwork on the "round" bars was clever and lovely. Best of Munich!

A must when in Munich. Honest decent German cuisine, try all Bayern food styles, no regrets. Loved their roasted duck on cabbage.
For all foreigners: In all munichs Biergarten it's allowed to bring your own food with you. Only drinks you have to buy on site :-)
Lunch break in Munich? Just go to the Viki, get some bread, sausage, fruit & cheese, a seat in the Biergarten and a beer. Beer on tab changes every week. If its Mardi Gras, come early!

Best view on the Marienplatz and Kirche is from Glockenspiel. Being sober doesn't add to that, so enjoying cocktails here is a nice side affect!
See Munich from above? Just climb 306 stairs & you see the Alps. Do you know why there are 2 clock faces on each side of the tower? It enables 2 people form very side to know how late it is :-)
