Perfect hostel if you arrive late or have an early morning flight. You can arrange transportation with the host (public transit won't work). Met people from HK, Taiwan, and other parts of Japan.
It's more of an entertainment complex than an airport. Tons of restaurants and souvenir shops. There's also a Doreamon world and a legit onsen. You'll be fine even if you're trapped by snowstorms.
Rooms are large and well kept. There is a free shuttle from the airport, but the ride took longer than expected.
