Julia S.Juni 24, 2014The small café on the first floor has DELICIOUS brownies. There is also free Wifi, the art is impressive and I wish I had read before that there is an app and hadn't paid the 5€ for the audio tour.
Enter the gardens for free (toilets for free inside too), but take your time to watch the great pieces of art inside. If you tend to visit more than 3 museums in a year: ask for a 'museumkaart'.

Vangelis KoukidisNovember 1, 2016Start from the top floors, I believe it makes the going around easier. Photos are oddly allowed - even with flash! - and the personnel is very friendly. Looks bigger than it is. Focus on the Dutch.
If Van Gogh museum is crowded, Rijks has a quite number of his paintings here, including masterpieces from Rembrandt, Rubens, Brueghel, Avercamp, etccc

Het mooiste museum van Nederland. De gouden eeuw wordt hier in al zijn schoonheid belicht. De eregalerij is werkelijk een plaatje, met Vermeer, Jan Steen, Frans Hals en natuurlijk Rembrandt!
