Sunrise here is incredible. A perfect spot. Don't climb over the fence; there's a gate and path on the left side, coming in.
Breakfast here is pretty basic but also quite good. If you order the omelette, ask what's in it or be surprised. The blueberry scone was light, fluffy, and moist – delicious!
Yaaaaas. The ramen is on point. And the bao (pork buns) are so so good. You can't go wrong.
Walking down to the lake can be slippery after a rain, but the koi fish make it worth it. They're so incredibly active, it's awesome. The entire garden is calm and peaceful.
As everyone says, the butterfish is perfect. But the vegan crispy zucchini was so delicious. You wouldn't know it was vegan! Finally, the ahi poke was amazing.
The açaí bowls are delicious. Definitely get the mana bowl and add-in Greek yogurt. Unfortunately, there's mixed service; some will mix in the yogurt, others claim "we don't do that."
So very delicious. The flatbreads and salads are perfection. You can get half-and-half if you want to try more than one flatbread. But order a salad. Pineapple vinaigrette; you won't be disappointed.
Very calm and chill park. If you walk around the side to the Secret Island, there's lots of coral to look at. Also, when the tide is low, you can walk out to the island.
The sandwiches here are delicious. Try the BBQ beef and bacon. FYI, both sizes of fountain soda are the same price.
I'm no shave ice expert, but it's delicious here with real fruit, frozen yogurt, and the perfect level of sweetness. Try the Heavenly Lilikoi.

When the path is wet, it's slippery. Be careful and wear good shoes. Have time to explore? The bamboo "forest" on the side of the path is quite beautiful.
While we were there in a stormy day, the waves were gorgeous. Even if it's raining, still worth a visit.
Absolutely, hands down, my favorite beach on Oahu. Sure, Lanikai is more picturesque. But Malaekahana is consistently empty and has wonderful, peaceful waves for swimming or surfing.
Great place for local, in-season fruits and other produce. The tangerines are delicious.
It appears to have been recently renovated and was clean and in good shape. Free wifi, of course. But steer clear of the restaurant (Four Corners) if you can help it. Decent for a night, not longer.
Yummy yummy yummy. The BBQ tempeh plate is delicious. But you really can't go wrong. Best vegan food on the islands. But great vegan food regardless of where you are.
Not my favorite Admiral's Club, but the renovation looks good. Lots of outlets, friendly and helpful agents, decent food. I just wish there was more seating.
Delicious. Try the curry bowl, if you're not into musubi. But why are you not into musubi?! The teriyaki SPAM musubi is great. Alternatively, the salmon & seaweed musubi was also exceptional.
