ESPNOktober 19, 2011If the HP Pavilion’s foundation pilings were stacked end-to-end, they would be 2.5x taller than Mount Everest, or roughly the same size as Brent Burns on skates.
When u are in ur seat there isnt a better arena. When they built the arena they didnt think of 1 thing. There is only 1 concourse. Upper deck and lower deck lead to the same concourse. Way 2 crowded.
Get the brisket sandwich (upstairs outside section 206). It's $9.50, but it's the best thing they have to eat here.

Armadillo Willy's now serves food here. It's not gonna make a real Texan convert, but it's good fare given the audience.
Parking is not too expensive comparing to other arenas, be sure to get here early

The "rules" say no weapons, but knives are okay so long as they're legal in California. That means no switch-blades. Spring-assist is fine.
Keep yours eyes glued on that sexy hairy man wearing #88. He's bound to delight you.
Best staff ever. They also give me booze, which is a plus.

Be considerate of those seating behind you: please DO NOT LEAN FORWARD IN YOUR SEAT! It blocks their view of the rink.
Before settling for Bud Light, take a lap aroun the concourse - some of the smaller vendors have better beers for the same price.
Go early and look for the tank patrol (flourescent green shirts) and get picked for an ingame contest!- Come watch the sharks dominate and get your kicks off by yelling "Seabrook, you suck!!!" at the blackhawks.
