Everything here tastes as good as it looks - which is saying a lot, because these are definitively the most beautiful looking desserts in the city.

The samosa chaat appetizer (easily enough for two or even four people) was a revelation - I've never tasted anything quite like it before, absolutely delicious. Chicken tika masala was amazing too.
What an extraordinary place. Worth taking time to explore the touching dioramas that have been constructed around many of the urns.

Busy in the evenings but a great spot for a weekday lunch, esp with the outdoor seating. Rolls are excellent - I particularly liked the Domo baked roll (pictured) and the Kobe Beef one
Possibly the most interesting shop in San Francisco: the owner, Dorian has been repairing clocks for decades including maintaining the clock inside the Ferry Building. Pop in for a chat!
