- Matty RyanJanuari 20, 2016So much room! I love the way seating is set up! Typically they have a lot of the best concert venues in the area.
- One of my favorite venues. Be warned though, they will search you thoroughly prior to most shows. Don't be stupid!
- The acoustics for an indoor show are TERRIBLE; you can never hear the lyrics b/c they blow out the instrumentals. Highly recommend as an outdoor venue, though. WAY better than First Niagara
- LOVE this venue. Between the $6.25 24oz Blue Moon drafts and never waiting in line for a (clean!) bathroom, it can't be beat.
- Mollie GannonJuli 4, 2016Pretty roomy yet intimate venue to see a show if it is outdoors. Mixed drinks available which is a nice change from the overpriced beer at most theaters. Surprisingly good acoustics.
- Cannot promote this place any better. The only venue that has you literally face to face with the talent performing. Just saw Circa Survive and it was amazing. Makes up for the ticket $$
- ConnorAgustus 23, 2015Went here for xFest. Pretty sweet venue. Lots of different beers and drinks. Very cool place.
- Brad ZickafooseOktober 23, 2014Great concert venue in Pittsburgh. Take in some American football history before the show at the exact location Franco Harris made the Immaculate Reception, located on the sidewalk behind Stage AE.
- Teresa TatumJuli 13, 2013If your show is the same night as a Pirates game, come EXTRA early to find parking. Especially if you're from out of town/not familiar with the area -- yuck!
- George MaierSeptember 12, 2018Check out stageAE for their Steeler’s game tailgates! Fun place to watch ch game. Encourage StageAE to offer one less expensive beer like they did for Pitt v PSU!
- George MaierOktober 23, 2016Probably the best audio and video set up in the city. Stage AE is right next to Heinz field, fun place to watch the game if you're not actually going!
- American Eagle OutfittersFebruari 21, 2012American Eagle’s concert venue. You can catch anyone from Snoop Dog, Dierks Bentley to Girl Talk playing here. The outdoor shows make for the perfect summer evening.- Jessica, Social Media Manager
- Doug CrileOktober 11, 2015Great concert venue. Horrible staff - most people are rude and unwilling to answer questions. Very unfortunate since the location is so good and offers a lot of popular shows.
- Good double venue. The outside is nice for bigger shows. The inside has a surprisingly intimate vibe for smaller shows. Alcohol is fairly priced as well.
- Kenneth (KJKendo) Fate JrMaret 2, 2015Sounds great inside with fairly priced beverages too :) The sound engineers know what they are doing. 👍
- Allison SAgustus 3, 2015Room for standing and seating as well as good drink selections. Nice spot for an evening concert with friends!
- Tyler TomasinoAgustus 6, 2014Don't park on the North Shore. Park elsewhere and take the T for free to the North Side station
- Travis StormerSeptember 8, 2014Nice outdoor venue for music, but every time I've been there I've seen people being hauled away after collapsing from the heat. Maybe they should reconsider charging $4 for a bottle of water.
- George MaierOktober 23, 2016Bring your scrapper for the Steeler's games. Stage AE is dog friendly at least Probably not for concerts i imagine.
- One of the best concert venues in or around the city of Pittsburgh!!!
- Stacy HoughMaret 9, 2019Outdoor shows are great. Indoor shows are a disaster. Too many people. Security takes forever- you miss half the show. Once inside you can’t see anything. Pass on indoors.
- The Club at Stage AE is a secondary smaller venue within the main area for smaller, independent musicians/groups and event after-parties! Check out who's playing there soon!
- Stage AEJuli 23, 2012Follow us on Twitter @Stage_AE or by searching us on Facebook and keep up to speed on every upcoming show in your quest for Mayorship!
- Erin KellyFebruari 13, 2012Awesome place for concerts in the summer. The smaller atmosphere makes for great concerts.
- Maggie JSeptember 26, 2011TRIVIA: Point Park University's Sport, Arts & Entertainment program has a special partnership with this place to give their students first-hand experience of the entertainment industry.
- Best concert venue I've been to; great for both indoor and outdoor shows
- Arjun MishraJuni 29, 2013Be prepared to inhale a lot of secondhand smoke for outdoor shows. Infrastructure is poor, but setting feels intimate and close. Acoustics are spot on.
- Jamie FredrickAgustus 26, 2011really wonderful venue, dislike the corporate nature of the whole thing but its a great place for mid-sized shows
- Sarah ParkerOktober 3, 2012The club at Stage AE sucks. If you're under 6 ft tall, be first in line at a show because if you're not upfront you will not see a thing. You will end up staring at the back of tall people, like I did
- Richard GombertJuni 21, 2019Not allowed to bring in a book. Sitting waiting for show to start. A great time to read! Also they take away bottle caps??? Outdoor chairs suck.
- Anne SMei 12, 2011All-around awesome venue for shows both indoor and out. So far I've seen Flogging Molly and Social Distortion here.
- Patrick MichaelOktober 20, 2015Great place to tailgate/pregame for the steelers games! They even have bands play!
- Wanna get closer to the stage?? Go around the pit to stage right for outdoor shows and stage left for indoor shows!
- Aaron bauerOktober 9, 2011Bring really comfy shoes...this place has the hardest most uncomfortable floor on earth. Nice venue otherwise.
- Amy CummingsSeptember 17, 2018Great place to “tailgate” before a Steelers game if you don’t have a car!
- Make sure you stop by the promotions table, where they give away tickets to upcoming concerts at almost every show!
- vw managerJuni 14, 2012you're obviously already a rockstar, kick it up a notch with an ice cold vitaminwater® . ahhh, that's music to our ears!
- Mitch MalikMei 10, 2014These people are NAZIS about filming. You can't even raise your phone toward the stage without getting ten flashlights flashed in your face. Be sneaky.
- Pro-tip: Get your tickets at the box office to save $ on service charges.
- Coleen DuranteMaret 24, 2014Crazy security. Follows u into the bathroom even. Saw 4 people removed from the show.
- Possibly if they were cooler to their patrons, they could sell more tickets. Don't ask me to throw away the carabiner on my keys. I'm not going to incite a riot with it. Worst. Venue. Ever. Ugh.
