Karri HuhtanenJuli 28, 2014If you have American Express, Diners Card or sone particular frequent flyer's card, the only lounge in this terminal is open to you. There are some free cold food and drinks available.
A little feature of this airport that I like are the drinking cups available at the restroom. Get some tab water and skip the expensive bottles.
SnowRipper1106 WSeptember 9, 2013Need a Swedish SIM card? Look out for the stores called PressByrån in arrivals/departures before screening to buy a pre-pay sim. Make sure package has surf data allowance if Internet/email required.
Nice and clean, just like you would expect a Swedish airport to be : )

Arlanda is lovely. Though getting anything other than the Arlanda Express may mean a lot of walking to get to your terminal/gate.

Heading international from Arlanda & a smoker? As soon as you get past border control and go up the escalator, take a right. You’ll see the SAS Lounge AND a 6 person smoking booth. You’re welcome.
T5 is ok while T4 is a little run-down in places. All in all, decent airport. In T5, remember that there are multiple security check points as the "main one" can be very crowded.

Traditional shrimp open face swedish shrimp sandwich -- one of the better I've tasted. Good spot to post up while waiting for your flight.

- If you accidentally get off at Terminal 5 but need to get to another terminal. Walk! Will take 10 minutes and save you the price of three beers :)
If you're leaving from the F-pier in T5 be advised that there isn't to many diners there. There are some nice recliners though.
Aah, nothing beats a beer at ARN. Don't leave that black credit card of yours at home though.
Easy and good wifi. U can take bus 583 to märsta then pendaltåg to central, its cheaper.
Pamela PadillaJuni 26, 2014There's a charging station with stools and tables that seat about 20 people at Gate number 1 in Terminal 1. Near to a TV with the news, though.
Use the airport bus (http://www.flygbussarna.se) instead of the train to get to the city and save money.
Take the bus if you are short on money since the train is expensive. If it is comfort you need, train is the thing!

AlexanderOktober 7, 2012If you a traveling as a transfer passenger and you have second flight from Stockholm to country outside EU, so that check in and boarding pass could be obtained at the gates.
3hr free WiFi! Careful, they’re sticklers about all your liquids fitting in a teeny-tiny bag!
The second half of terminal 5 is less busy, quieter and has air con.
Good airport and short security row. Although the lounge choices are a little limited.
