    This is my favourite book store ever. I wish they had one in Montreal. Or suddenly, for no reason whatsoever, moved this one here. Amazing prices and sooo many books I could spend the whole day there.

    A great bookstore, IF you don’t have a stroller. It’s hard work to manoeuvre a stroller in a store that has book cabinets placed absolutely everywhere.

    Massive book store, with all types: new, old, foreign languages, and all genres. If you still believe in physical books, totally worth the stopover.

    Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Don't forget to dig through the clearance racks outside as you're leaving! All Taschen books 10% off as of 10/13/12!

    Famous bookstore with long history of selling used and new books. If I rem correctly, it used to feel more authentic as a bookstore. Now it feels like just another bookstore with lots of souvenirs.

    This place is filled with history and the prices are amazing. Downstairs, you can find bargains, and dont forget to check the $1 book stands.

    The book store with miles and miles of books is always filled with fun, friendly and interesting people. Head to the second floor's photography section and get lost in a good book.

    If you're from the NW and are in dire need of some cheap, used reads, this place is it! Reminiscent of Portland, OR based Powell's Books. Almost ;)

    You can trade in books, but the criteria for them to buy is a high bar. There's also a trade kiosk on the corner of 60th Street and 5th Avenue.

    If you get the chance, go to the rare book floor and touch some old things. Bathroom on the 3rd floor is on my list of relatively clean public restrooms in New York City.
