It's a cute place for date night! Love their brunch special. Get there fries pickles and there biscuit and gravy. I was in love with their food. Definitely would recommend to others
If you are in mood for great summer and refreshing drink with Gingercandies and Bourbon - The Penicillin is a must try! Pro Tip: It's not always on the menu, but you can still order it!
Excellent, excellent whiskey list, VERY reasonably priced. Very nice place, gets crowded, service is fast, they turn tables. Got a pickleback w/ four roses and an Akashi White Oak blend
The fried pickles were amazing, but I had to tell literally everyone I know about the Frozen Peach Cobblercocktail. Please keep that around because I need to order it about 18405837 more times.
A very nice bar but can get crowded. Great for singles, mingling, and meeting new people. They serve good drinks and the fried pickles are pretty cool.
Many thumbs up for the cocktails. Also, I love any bar that serves baconmac and cheese, but this one is particularly yummy. I saw they have pickle backs and a picklecocktail that I want to try!
This popular Astoria spot gets crowded as hell on weekend evenings, so it's quite fortuitous that the outdoor garden provides a respite from all the loud-talkers boozing inside. Baca selanjutnya
You have to try the deep fried pickles, the ribs, the Afton burger with Gruyere and also, a side of fries with dashings of malt vinegar! Service here is always awesome, best bar in Astoria...
Fried pickles are amazing and you have to try the fried chicken sandwich. The fish tacos were very good too. Pretty much anything on the menu is a win.
Fantastic beer menu and awesome food -- especially for brunch. Atmosphere is laid back and comfortable, and there's blue-grass/folk music on Monday nights.
I love weekend brunch and afternoon drinks. Mike makes the best cocktails in the Burroughs, and the breakfast burger of chicken and biscuit can't be beat.
This laid-back Queens gastropub offers an array of reasonably priced suds from craft breweries like Sixpoint, Lagunitas and Captain Lawrence. Complement your brew with beer-battered McClure’s pickles. Baca selanjutnya
Decent brunch. Had sumtin diff - the tea infused rum cocktail. Reco the beer batteredpickle with beer. Avocado Toast was a simple and right execution. Seems g8 for after hours drinks with a group.
Favorite Astoria bar! Also, the mushroomburger is the BEST in the city. Any day of the week there is a good crowd. Drinks are great, bartenders awesome, vibe is always fun.
There's not much space here, but what's offered up is a lovely stone-walled cloister complete with wreaths and hanging plants, a perfect spot for imbibing cocktails.
Best thing on the menu is the Bua Fried Chicken Sandwich. Get a side of spicy mayo with it. The ribs and burger are ok. The fried pickles are so-so at best IMHO. Breading to pickle ratio is off.
Enough with the fried pickle tips. We get it. When you're here, get yourself a RootbeerCocktail. If you're hungry, share the Mac and Cheese. If you're feeling frisky, talk to the girl at the bar.
Everyone talks a big game about the mac and cheese, but don't forget to try the ribs. Also, their brunchGrilled Cheese with gruyere is amazing. Agree with the red lemonade, though. Mmmm.
Pickles, fried or no, are fantastic. They've also got a decent beer selection. In the summer, go in the afternoon and take a seat out back. Not the biggest patio but it's relaxing.
Solid spot. Great staff, beer of the month, fried pickles, grilled cheese... The mac n cheese is a pretty big deal, my sugg is to split it w someone, its a lot of cheese (but yes its good)
Hipster haven in Astoria. Seriously though, good beer selection. Tends to run crowded as the hours wane on. The mac and cheese is ridonkulous. That is all.
seriously you should try fried pickles and mac and cheese with bacon holy shit yum yum yum and ask Mike (bartender) for a spl drink called dark and stormy
