One hour at Short Term Parking is free. Eight hours cost me $20.00. Can pay via SunPas, cash or credit card when departing.
The southwest terminal restaurant has Tampa local brewery Cigar Brewery Maduro on Tap.
Great airport! Very helpful digital arrivals board for those picking up others to check flight statuses.
If you will be parking for more than 12 hours but less than 24, Long Term Parking is cheaper than Short term

Good airport for international guest. Not long waiting time at customs, as not many international flights are landing here
1st hour in short turn parking is they way to go when you wait for incoming flights.
Must stop by Columbia Cafe in delta terminal. Outstanding!!

Had a 5:45a.m. flight on Delta. Ticket counter didn't open until 4:35 so if you have an early flight & can't check bags with a skycap, you'll be cutting it close.
So bitter about my "stolen hour" this weekend. Still dark at the Tampa airport this morning!

Take advantage of the free WiFi while waiting for your flight.

The red and blue terminals are opposite sides of the same building, so if you go to the wrong one, it's no big deal. Just walk over to the other side.
Theodore HuffFebruari 13, 2017Flying out in the morning? Security doesn't open until 4:15. Why do they schedule flights at 5am then?
Make sure you tip the skycaps! They do an awesome job on the curbside :)
