    Richly decorated interior, especially the ceiling. Nice cosy and comfortable pub. Listed on the national inventory of historic pub interiors.

    An overlooked gem for a morning coffee. Cheaper than a lot of coffee places, plenty of seats in the sun (shame about the traffic) and when you get bored of coffee you can switch to beer!

    Amazing food and cocktails. Desserts are great The Sunday Roast is something special. Nice atmosphere and nice crowd. I really enjoyed the Wednesday night with the Live Jazz Music.

    Really cool authentic pub, with high ceilings and decorative ornaments. Food was really good as for the pub food, great steak

    Great atmosphere, comfy sofas and a lit fire! Good beer although limited choice. Great cocktails and great food.

    Look for the patch of missing plaster work that's been replaced by matching wallpaper. Great seats by the fire place off you get there early enough

    This is one of my favourite pubs. Food is pretty good. Really comfy places to sit. Roaring fire in the Winter. The ceiling is awesome!

    Had some great nights in here when it was an old-school Irish pub. Now a very nice gastropub with some great old decor. Handy for the Tricycle Theatre across the road
