At some points you'll forget that you are in the city. Have run into deer quite often while going on runs or weekend hikes. A treasure we should never take for granted

Great place called Ercilia's where you can get Portuguese treats like a Pasteis de Nata (custard tart). Heated up with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Pairs well with a good cup of coffee 👍🏻

Indeed a hidden little gem in Kanata. Was in visiting a very old friend who pointed me here for coffee. Pleasant surprise and I love kitchen supplies :)
Try the high tea at Zoe's lounge. Enjoy the pianist and take a breather. A bit pricey (as is most things in the hotel) but it's an experience worth taking away if you are visiting in town.
