    Expensive, cramped. Staff didn't warn before pouring me a £6.80 keg beer - this price was nowhere on the boards. Even some cask stuff was £4+. Can get similar "craft" beers at the Whippet for less.

    The dining room upstairs is a strange, lonely space. Five tables, an open gas fire and that's it. Order food downstairs in the bar.
