James Durr typically on the east side of the park on Saturdays has the best selection of flowers for very, very reasonable prices. Plus, they usually last a week, or longer!

the rocambole garlic from keith's farm is fantastic (on saturdays, they're towards the north-east corner). i also like picking up a bag of broken pretzels from the martin's pretzels booth.

As local as you can get without leaving the city. Friday's the best day.- Martin's Handmade Pretzels are awesome & they give samples. Buy a bag of 'broken' -- cheaper, just as tasty & besides the whole ones are so big, snackers are likely to break them anyway.

Show up at the end of the day (around 5:50) for some great last minute deals. Farmers would rather sell their produce for cheap than load it back on the truck
