    There are multiple arrival gates - communicate with your cab about which arrival gate you are coming out from. Also I personally love art like the one I posted on this Airport .

    What an upgrade!! I can now proudly say Calcutta has got one of the finest Airports in India...It's huuuuuuge and it's brilliant...Just that, it now needs to get commercialized at a much higher level.

    Subway has veg options, which is good! Fogging done around midnight, though. So if in transit around midnight, remember to pack a mask or something similar.

    Spacious and Modern, NSCB domestic terminal is slightly sleepy although it has most of amenities. Get cash from other ATMs since the ones at the airport don't work.

    It's a good idea to take the AC volvo buses that are a walk away to the right from the arrivals , they are good money wise and comfort wise.They handy, light on wallet and comfy,have patience waiting!

    Landed to refuel and take off again. The weather was 25 Celsius. The homes from above reminded me of the outskirts of England. Had a nice vibe. Would want to check it out hopefully in the future.

    Airport is huge and clean. Good news is that they don't have too many options for food/drinks or shopping so you'll just relax and not blow your money. Glass is always half-full.

    This new airport is huge & sparkling but seriously missing professionalism in it's operation, good improvement required, dirty & stinky area in departure lounge & outside pulls down the overall setup

    All Bongs go 2hrs before the flight I suggest everyone to do so; it takes a lot of time to reach the ticket counter after negotiating a long Q. Very important reach very early....

    インドの携帯電話番号を持っていないとWi-Fiは使えません。Wi-Fi Help Deskはあるけれど、そんな訳で一般的な国外からの旅行者にとっては無意味。 空港内のお店では、外貨は使えず。ATMはあるが、国際空港なのに…。建屋は新しくなってもコルカタの空港としての中身はそのままです。

    The new airport is much bigger, modern & less crowded. Check-ins are now faster too. Now all it needs is a bar, a smoking zone & a decent restaurant. Keep flying. :)

    Well Maintained, Smooth transfer from the main entry to boarding gates. DigiYatra enabled but no facial scan. A lot of food outlets are available. Sweet kiosks opened to take sweets back home.

    I would suggest keeping eyes closely on your belongings when acrossing the security check as the line between luggage and body screening could be quite distanced.. Just in case :)

    Finally the pre paid city taxi is free of middle man. Now the taxi number is not allocated in the counter , instead taxi is assigned from the queue outside the exit.

    Even though der are less number of stalls inside the New airport is awesome, don't carry rasgullas(liquids) in your hand luggage security won't allow them. Keep them in luggage and checkin da luggage.

    Remember! Always ask for hand carry luggage tags during check-ins at any Indian airport. It will be stamped and checks all the way till u board the plane.

    The new airport looks even better now. Will wait for all the food courts to open. Will be even better then. DONT JUDGE THIS AIRPORT BY READING OLDER REVIEWS.

    An excellent new airport!! But the way these people are maintaining it is horrible. Specially the washrooms. As these are early days better they take a tip or two from Bangalore airport.

    Kolkata airport has changed completely since a year . they have installed advanced equipment at baggage counter. The area is wide enough to accommodate Kolkata passengers .

    The new terminal looks great. Lots of space and you won't feel the crowd. Walking through aerobridge, it took ages to reach aircraft.

    Don't forget to screen ur baggages like we did in old airports. Apparently we still haven't for permissions to automate luggage screening post checkin. It will save u 10 mins!

    Though new terminal building is upgraded to a better one, its better to keep expectation low. This is the only major airport that has crows and pigeon inside terminal. So watch out!!

    Don't know why Jet Airways is advertising in the tips section. Anyway, recommend going to the coffee day outside the domestic terminal instead of the one inside. They have a nice outside sitting area.

    Things are done old school. X-Ray your bags before check-in. Not a lot to do or see, be sure to carry your mp3 players or a good book. The only sweet shop is good but expensive. Keep expectations low.
