Yarn Lam: Chicken & Mushroom Risotto - slightly bland, but otherwise not too cloying as with other risottos. Good button mushrooms and chunky chicken breast. Great flat white to finish off!
Yarn Lam: All the exhibits are really great here! It's free for everyone too - just leave a donation or buy something. Great for spending a day learning about tassie culture, Antarctica and art.
Yarn Lam: The Full Larder - really nice eggs Benedict, spicy beans, good bacon and sausage, fresh grilled mushrooms and tomato, really crispy hashbrown. Perfect all day breakfast looking out on to the harbour.
Yarn Lam: Look out at the awesome view here while you have a taste of their hand made cheeses and chocolate. Large variety of crops on this farm and organically grown.
Yarn Lam: Modern new pier; love the common waiting area where you can wait comfortably instead of regular piers where you wait in the cold wind. MONA ferry leaves from here.
Yarn Lam: The road up may be closed when snow is forecast; do call ahead to check and avoid disappointment. Near the top there is a nice spot to look out on southern Tasmania. We saw a rainbow!

Yarn Lam: Yachtie's mixed grill is most popular here - seafood skewers served on a heated stone comes sizzling to your table! Fresh and nicely seasoned seafood.
Yarn Lam: Lunch specials - 11.90 for a main and drink. The stir fried rice noodles with grilled chicken was quite decent. Took shorter than the 20 mins wait to get to me.
Yarn Lam: Lor mee. For $3 only there's lots of ingredients, gravy doesn't turn watery and you can add all the vinegar, chilli and minced garlic you want.
Yarn Lam: After renovation added a traditional coffee counter so now you can have a bun and coffee/tea to go as breakfast! The shio pan, mushroom ham, raisin cream, are favourites.
