    Got to be done if you go to NYC. Get there early in morning 8am! Or before (opens at 8am) take the audio it's quite I interesting. Souvenir shop expensive, take a look in other souvenir shops b4!

    For those with disabilities, the Empire State Building is a breeze. My husband walks with a cane due to cerebral palsy, and the staff was incredibly attentive to his needs.

    A Nice place to visit at night. You can also have a drink on the 230th 5th avenue roof top to have a great view on this building!

    Beautiful views from the observation deck. Try and plan to go around sunset. Expect about a 45 minute wait on most days.

    After the first elevator takes you to the 80th floor you can do the remaining 6 floors by foot in the staircase. Its a 5 min walk if that, and totally worth not waiting for the second elevator.

    The staff are a little hostile, much friendlier at Top of the Rock but this is a must do if it's your first visit to NYC.

    Buy your tickets online and def shell out for the express pass. Saved us lots of time by being able to pass the insane lines.102 floor observatory is also a must, amazing.

    Amazing place but make sure you only buy your tickets online or upstairs. There are official city guys that sell them to you out front for more money.

    So the people selling the tickets outside with an OFFICIAL brochure & an "empire state bldg" life jacket, offering to cut the lines and a free 90 min ferry is NOT a scam! The ferry ride is amazing!

    Don't waste your money here. Go up the Chrysler building instead... You'll get a better view as you get to also see central park and up state clearer and you get to see the empire state building too.
